It's a little tricky but just follow my instructions when I try that on one of my DateJust´s.
I start with my cyclop remover kit. Pull it up in my full size Bergeon case holder. And start the work. Damn, Rolex have quality glue so I have to warm it up a bit. Now I hope it will come off. Ouups, not so good. What do you think, did I have to change crystal? Or can it be polished?

Wow to all the mods! Now, I Must Have the green date wheel for my TT GMTIIC and the red sweeping hand and date wheel for my Deepsea. I am very serious. I was cautious to ask these questions before since there are a lot of purists on this forum but I had been thinking about mods before but never said anything. I've read, for example, the comments about having DLC coating on one's Rolex. Phew, some brutal comments if I remember correctly.
Does anyone know where I could get these mods done in the WashDC/Northern VA/Baltimore area? Any help in getting OEM parts and info on who may do the mods in these areas will be much appreciated. Pls PM me or mention it here. Pls include websites and phone numbers, if available. Thanks! |

If I had to live with a Cyclops, this would have been sufficient:
but I wanted a GMT slightly more upscale so I went with the Explorer II sans "bubble": Try reading the date at this angle with the Cyclops in place: Fr. John† |

Actually milled an extra bezel and had an insert made for it. I am working on more efficient methods to make them quicker. Takes about 2 months.

Are you guys using genuine Rolex parts or after market pieces? Is it true that if you use non Rolex parts and send the watch in for service that Rolex won't service the watch unless you replace the fake parts?
