Yes, the PM bezel is a nightmare to maintain if worn regularly as its design somehow magnifies the impact of any scratches, scuffs etc on the aesthetics when reading the time, to the point you really have to consider it a service item.

I think, if you're going to have two Daytona's in your collection, the steel and the OF makes more sense than two steels - that is, if you are more of a 'diversified' collector as opposed to a 'themed' one. But let's face it, there really are no wrong answers when it comes to a Daytona.

They wear, look, and feel completely different, which is what I'm after. Good luck,

I’ve tried before and was told they would only allow you to do it if you have a PM watch. Do you have an SS and PM model or do I need to ask a new AD?
