Cool!! I'm going to try it with one of mine and see if I can get some better tone on the hands. Might take a bit longer than 2 weeks seeing as I'm in grey Liverpool and not sunny Oz.

I'll leave it out on the watch-holder on the front of the car...

That's beautiful Jed, I wouldn't have minded a pic of that in the SMH article that I posted a few days ago mentioning Aussie vintage dealers but missing you out!

Amazing, "grail", perfection! Wow. What i cant understand is how you allow them to sit so long. Perhaps it is me, I wear them all.

When you are ready to part, with either of your "7's" cash is burning my packet. Been hunting for one in that condition for too long.

An amazing, perhaps, a top five THT Vintage post.

Thanks for sharing, all the beat to you

Just got this 1 month ago from Nick and am wearing it 4 days per week - the patina is darker than in this pic (coffee color) and I DON'T WANT THE COLOR TO CHANGE!!!!!

Will keep you posted.

Beautiful watch Jed. Thank you for sharing. It's nice to see all original watches gain or lose patina over time.

As a result of this thread, my 1680 will be spending its days on the window sill in my office looking out over the water, and soaking up the sun.

Oh, and nice watches y'all have by the way!
