Nice Gary! Prefer the Sea Dweller texting on the dial over the new one without it

Wow. As a relative novice about the different histories of each model, I kinda hate to see it depart from the Sea-Dweller line. I've owned my 16600 for maybe 25yrs and my DSSD maybe 10'ish yrs so I like the relative connection of the Deepsea being an extension of the line-up. But, I suppose if they're gonna keep producing the 4000ft/1220m Sea-Dwellers it makes sense. When they increased the Sea-Dweller ratings to 4000ft it "replaced" previous versions and became the only Sea-Dweller produced I believe?

Assuming that's the case I guess the "DS" will become its own line? (Sorry if this is just stating the obvious to the crowd.)

So, it seems like they intend to continue the Deepsea and maybe the "Challenge" will enter this line rather than extending the SD line?

I then guess the DSSD versions will become odd ducks.

Just a relative novice thinking out loud...
