What is the lug size and is there room for a NATO, unlike the SD4000? I'm sure it will be awhile before a new owner starts messing around with removing the bracelet!

You can put the 116600 on a NATO but it's easier if you have slimmer spring bars

Hi Sir I apologize for not being an owner of a SD43 /SD50 unit ( ? yet ) but hope to have some Hands-On experience once the new SD arrives in Malaysia - That would take another 4-5 months ...that's if I'm lucky enough to see a beauty in the flesh

Instagram photo credits : @time4nothing

I believe he is the 1st Among Equals to have actually conducted strap experimentations and I must say I'm impressed. Observe the noticeble gap between the spring bars and casing

It's all good, Brian....I only knew about the other thread because it, too, was for SD43 owners (as opposed to SD50 or whatever people call it )...

All is know is....is that I'd love to join the club some day. Have a good weekend!

I called my AD right after you posted the good new Brian. Just like you said, the Rolex boutique get them first. He expects to deliver mine before June. Can't wait to join the club.

There's a fair bit of room for NATOs, im using a thicker 1.2mm NATO (stock spring bars) and theres room to spare unlike the other sports models i own which are a tad tight when you loop the strap through.

Brady sailcloth looks cool though

I saw this photo with the NATO and sailcloth earlier today posted on instagram. Confirmed lugs are 22mm and there is plenty of room for other straps. I'm 100% in. This watch looks perfect and that's from someone who really doesn't care for the cyclops. I look beyond that and think I may come to appreciate it. Cannot wait to get my hands on this SD43. Big congrats to those that already have it!

very nice photos all, and congrats Ken my friend for your latest addition!

i agonized over this one in the AD, tried it on and came very close to pulling the trigger, ultimately passed but it's not totally out of my head. these wrist shots look great.

Happy to have a Rolex in the stable again and how it looks in the collection!

Love the 126600! Perfect gift for my 50th Birthday and fun to track it down in Italy.
