Mine started it’s first year on my wrist on the positive side “+2sec / day.
Then moved to the negative side “-3sec / day” in 2021.
Starting 2022, and I mean literally Jan the first, my SD43 is running at 1sec / day!
Strange behavior but Maybe it’s due to the fact that I’ve been wearing it daily non stop for a couple of months now as opposed to 3,4 days per week for the past 2 years.

My one year old EXPII 216570 is by far the most accurate/precise Rolex I have ever owned. Since purchased, it has steadily remained within <1 to +2s from zero depending on dial up or crown down position overnight.

My Datejust is about 4 months old and, when set crown-up at night, runs just a hair over half a second fast per day. The only time I re-hack it is when I tweak the date at the end of non-31-day months.

Well been wearing Rolex watches for well over 50 years, and over that time never really checked any of my watches to the exact second.Just check mine once a month or so then seldom out by perhaps a minute or so.And in all these years of wearing Rolex watches, never missed a train, boat or plane, or late for any appointments because my watch was perhaps a few seconds fast or slow.

Gravity affects mechanical watches the most thats why they are tested in 5 different positions.And in those different positions there will be very very slight deviations in the timekeeping.Remember this the escapement of a mechanical watch in 24 hours pushes the gears 432,000 times.And on the wrist when worn the movement is constantly affected by the earth's gravity,mainspring power-reserve, metal expansion and contraction, temperature variations on or off wrist, subtle changes in lubrication and friction, shocks, and so on.The fact is that no mechanical watch made at any price or brand will keep 100% perfect time, very close yes but perfect no.
