Third time is a charm, throw away your loupe before picking up your LV

Send it RSc they will get the dust out. Mind you they may well scratch the case to bits and polish it as well.

Sent watch to local watchmaker two times, both times with dust under the crystal
You get what you pay for sometimes.

So I handed the watch to the watchmaker again and they say it really is a new piece of dust. They are gonna help me clear it. Hopefully as some of you guys say, the third time’s the charm

Local watchmaker took out the dust from the dial on the same day as I took it in for a fix, looks good now. Hopefully I won’t find any dust again when I go back home for a more detailed inspection

A loupe is not your friend, you will always find something. As long as I can’t see it with my naked eye I’m good, I also don’t look for defects and just enjoy wearing it!

Is it still under warranty? I’d have sent it to an RSC and perhaps fixed under warranty.
As others said, you get what you pay for.

OP mentioned in an earlier post that he didn’t use a loupe - didn’t need to he said. It was visible to his unaided eye. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

Good to hear. I wouldn’t fault RSC or indie watchmakers for the stray bit of space dust. What many here don’t know is the best effort to clean and contain airborne particles can still result in a stray bit. Sometimes a dial and rehaut looks pristine upon reassembly. Then a tiny white bit of dust that was lurking on a dial plot’s lume comes loose from normal shakes and shimmies and lands on the otherwise clean dial. Other times it may have been on the underside of the hour/minute hand and falls onto the rehaut or dial. These things happen - glad your issue is sorted out. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

I know it's tempting (believe me) but the more times you let it out of your sight and let someone else handle it, you are risking additional damage. Caseback scratches, bracelet scratches, other issues with the crystal going on crooked, etc. Have to weigh it.
