Everybody is entitled to their opinion, we can agree to disagree. No validation needed here, just a watch lover giving his opinion. There is no need to follow me wherever I go and to keep on hating on my posts. This is not what we’re all here for. Peace.

Thanks man! Yeah of course there is no wrong choice here! Both references are beautiful! For the jubilee bracelet I love the look and how comfortable it is and as you say it’s reversible!

I myself prefer the 116500 - if I wanted a Zenith dial, I would get a 16520 and get the centered subdials as well but all Daytonas are beautiful
You are absolutely right! Whatever the generation and configuration a Daytona is beautiful!

Your photos are excellent ..
as is your unbridled desire to promote the 126, here or insta .. nothing wrong in it trust me, having such a watch for some is impossible, I consider myself extremely lucky having the 116 ..
Thank you so much! I still love my 116500!

126500LN is just more refined, refer above 126500LN vs 116500LN for good read
The new details make it more refined as you say! Love it

It looks better than a RO jumbo to my eyes. Maybe the best LOOKING steel sports watch ever. I don’t care about haute horology if it’s fragile and easy to scratch. Robust, reliable and powerful sports watches will always win. Rolex will always win . That is all
You came to reason! Thanks!

I get what you are saying! Let say how the metal ring lives

The old case is visually more appealing with the slimmer profile and crownguards. The new one is bulkier and might wear slightly larger. The new endlink design and the fact it’s thinner makes the new ref more comfortable on my wrist vs the old ref when worn on oyster.

I think you are right on the 1165 Daytonas to be the only model in the Rolex range with ceramic and no frame

Great photos, and yes, the new reference does look sleeker & definitely edges the previous version.

I must not be understanding this? Up until the new Daytonas came out, I think *every* Rolex that I can think of that had a cerachrome bezel did not have a metal ring around it. Subs, GMTs, Daytonas....
