How your AD explained the allocation process on delivery day is exactly as it goes down.

Flippers are flippers. No whining about reality anymore.

The notion that these AD's would jeopardize their Rolex status for a few "backdoor deals" is pure fantasy.

Yes, I am not saying all ADs are in the clear. That’s why Rolex came down hard on them and kicked many out of dealership business.

Congrats, very nice looking watch and that's great you were able to create some influence that led to the acquisition of this DJ. Box and papers? LOL.

Now you'll need to come back in the next few weeks and share the upcoming acquisitions!

I didn’t know whether it would really work or fall on deaf ears, but, I guess the sales person was empathetic.

This was new from a Rolex boutique. I have five year warranty invoked under my name.

One of the best two-tone pieces ever. Congrats! Beautiful dial. The Wimbledon is the absolute pinnacle of class, yet still has a sporty spirit. May you wear it in good health

Glad you got your watch but I really don’t get these emotional guilt trips people give to ADs.

At the end of the day it’s a luxury watch and it’s not something you should be emotional about. Especially to an AD that has little to no control over the situation.

If I was an AD I’d be internally eye-rolling.

Sorry to be negative but my two cents . And again, congrats on a great reference.

I agree. OP ranted an AD about something over which the AD has very little control, and he got sold a two tone watch to appease him. I wouldn’t have rewarded the entitled behavior, but it’s not my shop…
