If you're looking for just a dial, check the classified sub-section here under Rolex parts, accessories etc. I've seen a few for sale there.

Nice! I love the black SS Daytona, I'm in the minority that think it's far better than the white. I don't get all the hate for it, something about readability but I never had a problem with mine...

Thanks, Dan. No problem whatsoever with the readability too.

the 2 tone band gets scratched easily, took it off and replaced with a leather strap

To be honest, if you're worried about scratches, the Daytona is not a good choice and not because of the bracelet or PCL's, it's the bezel. There is NO WAY to avoid scratches other than keeping it in a safe for the rest of its life. Especially in gold, the bezel will scratch just from wiping it with a cloth. This usually happens when the bezel is dirty and has not been cleaned with soap and water first. You effectively rub the dirt into the gold. You can also get scratches just from normal shirt cuffs where the fabric rubs against it and lets not forget the damage your desk can do when typing...

If you swapped the bracelet because of scratches, you're in for a long and tiring ownership. Just wear it and enjoy it. Look after it by all means, and try to avoid hard knocks but do not try to avoid daily wear and tear.

As strange as it sounds, in a year or so, you'll have enough of those fine little scratches that it becomes harder to notice them. The sooner you forget about it, the sooner you will start really enjoying your watch.

Take the stickers off. Do you really wear it around like that? Its like a woman with the price tag still on a dress she cant afford and plans to sell or return.

It could be pictures from day one? A few of my favourite pictures from when mine was new still have the stickers on, but I can assure you they didn't stay on past the first day. I still post those pics sometimes though.

Either way, I fully agree with you, no matter what the reason is, leaving the stickers always appears to be some sort of subconscious move to preserve it for resale. Wear it and enjoy it!

That AP is sweet too, but the Daytona will not disappoint. Very comfortable to wear and at home at a BBQ or the opera. Really versatile.

I love the black too! Very classy and understated. I had to sacrifice it on trade, but as you guys know I have a YG arriving in about 24 hours so no regrets.

Keep those pics coming...Daytona love lives here. And I think there has been too much anti-Daytonaism the last couple of years due to all the hype, the "rarity", the waiting lists and the price gouging of a few years back. I think all that is behind us and we can be proud to wear them and appreciate them for what they bring: design elegance, artistic inspiration, historical significance and mechanical innovation.
