Strange coincidence, I read this thread on Thursday and wondered when/if I might get the call. I made the original enquiry in March this year. And then yesterday I received an email saying mine has arrived. So off to London tomorrow I shall go. Interesting to read people think they are soon to be discontinued.

I totally get what you guys are saying but I'm in the same boat. My first post was a reply to this thread. It doesn't mean anything against my character or the type of person I am.

I have two allocations and buddy has offered to pay himself and then I will pay him when he sends it over. I've been creeping this forum for over a year and never got around to joining until a week ago. I guess people are quick to judge here but its just a watch. He's on the list for one too so I've offered him an allocation. We've spoken via whatsapp and when someone is straight forward and willing to front the $$ you have to give them some credit.

I totally get its an in demand piece and a quick profit can be made on it but this is where you have to have some faith. Karma always comes around one way or another.

I don’t think anyone is talking about you personally, just the idea in general of having someone pick up their £3000 watch.
I appreciate the offer.

Just went on chrono24. So many for sale! Is anyone actually wearing this watch or are they all claimed just for resale. Lol

I got mine a year ago for 6,000 USD. I am pretty sure I overpaid because now I can get it for cheaper but I love wearing it and I am sure in long term it will pick up in price a bit.

Rootbear, is that you??

It’s an instinctive response. Who, in their right minds, would accept an offer from someone with a brand new membership, with one post. Think about it for a moment?

No-one should take that personally. It’s not like you’ve proven your credibility and integrity over time and then someone has made a judgement based on that. It’s not like people have met you, and know you, and made a decision based on that. How could any sort of offence be taken?

This is an Internet forum, and many would give you advice against the faith you are mentioning. Sorry, but that’s fact.

Aside from that. Look on the web, thousands of Harrods Tudors being listed for sale. They are not a premium piece that buyers pay well over the odds for.

My advice would be purchase if you like it and want to wear it. Don’t buy for resale purposes, as you’ll be disappointed.

…this isn’t limited by number but the location from where you can buy it.

first the rumour was 100, then 200, 500, 1000, 5000, 10000.

Sorry, but your logic makes 0 sense in this case. I think you missed the whole part where buddy has offered to pay up front out of his pocket. 6200 GBP is no small sum and when someone fronts that what do I have to lose??

A watch that I wouldn't get anyways since I'm 4000 miles away? Its not as if its a Daytona or a BLRO, I'd be flying over myself for those.

We got the watches thank you very much. I offered him to keep one for his efforts since he was on the waitlist which may not get fulfilled and the other is at my in laws in the UK. I will post some pictures when I get them.

Yes it is. There’s a waitlist but it isn’t impossible to get. Definitely obtainable without any purchase history.

I traded my BNIB BB pro for a pre-owned BB Harrod’s. No regrets.

That's a beautiful green rubber strap. Where did you get that from? Was it one size fits all or cut to size?

Nope. I got the whole part. You missed the humour, but don’t worry.

That great that you got your special Tudor.

The point I was making, is that no-one should take offence to someone making a judgement on a faceless internet user, especially one with limited history.

That’s it.

I got one in february 2022, but it's too chunky for me. Sold it to a friend.
I can't imagine having this watch in BB58 size. Hope it happens once they stop it at 10.000 units or so, as rumours says.

I got the email a couple of months ago after a 6 month wait. By the time it was allocated to me, I had changed my mind. Almost 10,000 pieces and even then we don't know if production is definitely going to stop. It's not as rare as it once was.

One of those where I would have bought if it was available immediately or with a very short wait. I'd much rather the new Pelagos now.

Me neither. 10,000 isn’t actually a large production run. I’ve seen far more DJs, subs, GMTs, sky-dwellers and Daytonas in the wild. On a daily basis.

Tudor BB’s in the wild however, I’ve seen a grand total of one.

Who knows if it’s actually going to stop at 10,000.

I believe the Tudor Back Bay Harrods will continue until at least 12000.

Had mine a few years and it’s a cool looking watch and certainly doesn’t bother me if they produce 20/30 or 40k. I’ve spoken with Tudor AD staff in the past that has never actually handled one so they’re certainly not seen out in the wild that often
