I would not. Two great watches that are robust and very wearable. The AP, just not my cup of tea.

A RO is ok for daily, I used mine daily for nearly 2 years and still looks great, just need to be a little more wrist aware.
But in the case of your trade above, is your Daytona a steel or ceramic bezel? If it’s ceramic, then I do not think it is a good trade, slightly better for RO owner. Steel bezel I would think decent for both. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk |

Exactly. I’ve said this in other threads. Cue the handful of AP sympathizers to disagree but this has been my experience as well. Nice watch but not as robust for a daily. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Trade 2 rolex for 1 royal oak

Even a mint panda Daytona is no where near $30k these days, and steel bezel Daytonas are way <$20k. Which is why I said if a ceramic Daytona is not a good deal for OP, if it was steel bezel then it would be fair for both if those watches are what each party really wants. All depends what you have in your collection. Rolex vs. AP wears differently.

Like others have said - wouldn’t do that trade even though I love AP.
Market for AP is already tanking and for daily wears, travel, not wanting to be too wrist aware your Pepsi and Daytona are heads and shoulders above a single RO. I'd add if at all possible without giving up either |

I’m not sure if the issue is funds, time, or both. But if you’re patient you will get what you want at retail (from AD is a strong possibility)

To trade or not, I would think how much love OP still have for the 2 Rolex. If he's already bored with Rolex and it doesn't put a smile on his face when he's wearing them, it's time to trade off. Sometimes, a hobby can't use economical sense to justify.

No
The 15500 and 15510 are barely above retail. Also I see a 26240ST 50 Anniversary trading at retail in Singapore Keep your Rolexes Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I think if you’re going to trade those two for one AP you should get something a little more social, there’s good buys right now on the perpetual calendar and that would be absolutely worth dumping your Rolexes for..
Or at least a jumbo But for a basic royal oak, prob not.. Personally id trade the Rolexes for a nice chrono- no way I’d give mine up for a Pepsi and Daytona Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

If you do, you’ll come to regret it imo.

As many have already said, I would keep the Rolexes. I love my RO, but I also think it’s tough to wear as a daily. I love my Royal Oak Offshores as dailys.

However, I disagree on the travel comment. I would never travel with a Daytona. And not because it is some expensive watch or I would worry about damaging it. Its just too well known my criminals. |

I’d keep the Daytona and sell the Pepsi and get a RO
I sold my white SkyD for white 26240 and so happy with this decision (also once the green SkyD came out I knew that’s the one I wanted) My black dial Daytona still gets most of the wrist time |

Generally in favor of consolidating into what the heart really wants but have to agree with the majority view in this thread. OP, have you considered the RO perpetual?
