I know from previous threads here on TRF that not everyone is a Romans fan (nor is my husband). I personally love them, and have them on my DJ36. I do not think they look cluttered until you see them on the smaller ladies’ watches (such as a 31mm). I know they are “old fashioned,” and they would look out of place on a sports watch, but a DD is a classic formal watch that has been around for decades, and an automatic movement is in and of itself “old fashioned.”
So, it’s very personal. If you are already inclined towards Romans, I would definitely recommend them (on a blue dial or any other dial), as you suggested. |
