I'm a hardcore Datejust guy but there's no way I'd do that deal. The 5 digit GMT is the only sports model I like and think you'd regret making that swap. As already mentioned *add* the DJ later and keep the 16710.

I would add a vintage Datejust instead, so that will set you back 2-3-4k USD max. Better looks, brushed lugs, crystal, ... and you won't lose any money (compared to a new DJ).

No, Nay, Never! DJ are nice but a dime a dozen. Save your money for a DJ and keep your GMT. Unless of course you don't love the GMT then by all means let it go, I sense regret on that one in less than a year.

As others have said just slap a jubilee on it. 16710 is as good as it gets imo.
