It will be delivered to Qatar as I work out here and only manage to get back to the UK once a year.

You're right. I have yet to see a single one in 'real life', only at the ADs. All you DJ II owners need to be getting out and flashing them around more.

sweet DJII! the lume is really great!!! always wondered why they didn't do the same thing with the roman numerals (give it lume i mean)...

going back to your question, i guess it's still "difficult" to find these at ADs. not all carry them (compare to a Sub for example or the old DJ)... maybe give it a few more months...

As I said earlier, I love the watch. With a blazer and khakis or jeans great. With a suit, well, not for the sartorially conscious. Plenty of people wear bracelet watches with suits. Doesn't make it right.

I'm not pompous on these things, but traditional and old school. Maybe that's not in vogue these days.
to each his own i guess... everyone's entitled to their opinion, and this is yours! i respect that... but it's one thing to give an opinion and another to force it down others' throats (exaggerating of course)

if people followed that rule, then majority would still be using pocket watches it's perfectly acceptable to wear "bracelet watches" to formal events nowadays IMO

I'm not a playa or something inbetween. If it's a suit I wear a strap. A blazer opens up possibilities to a bracelet watch. And yes, my belt, shoes, and watch strap will all match.

Where does it say anything about a strap in that article? Either way, style is personal.

Trying to disparage others because they don't agree with your strict definition of a "dress watch"...

Please, I'm new here. I'm not trying to disparage anyone. Feel free to wear whatever you want, in any social situation. I've seen Hollywood stars wear sneakers at the Oscars with tuxedos. I wouldn't. People wear sunglasses at night. I wouldn't.

I do enjoy my DJ II i just seem to believe that there is a very large sport rolex following on this forum. There are a million threads dedicated to the beautiful and only a handful to the equally as beautiful dress rolexes.

And one more thing.......If i take a sponge bob watch and put it on a leather strap does that make it a dress watch?

Nobody can tell me what to wear HAHAHAHAH what a joker.

Until i saw/tried one i just thought they were a bigger DJ. But in the flesh they seem and appear like a much sportier watch than the normal DJ.

I always thought DJ II as "casual watch".. Not sport, or not dress watch, but casual.. So it is somewhere between sport and dress. Anyway, it is handsome watch..

But still I have to agree with "watchteacher".. You all must understand that opinions are opinions, but etiquette is etiquette. That's it.

Of course nobody can tell you what to wear. But hey, etiquette is still etiquette.. And that was "watchteacher's" point.. Am I right??

Watch etiquette? Are you kidding me.......you must be. Listen to yourself, I mean if my watch was dropping jewish jokes in a synagogue or priest jokes at the vatican I would say my watch had bad etiquette......but WTF are you talking about?

Yeah, you are absolutely right, there is no watch etiquette. But definitely there is dress code etiquette.. (formal partys, etc.) And watch is part of it.
For example: dress code "white tie" = no wrist watch.

But this is watch forum, not style forum. So that's it, end of story..

Like I said, DJ II is handsome watch, so more pics, please.
