I wore my 16610 from 1992 to 2005. I then wore my 16613LN from 2005 to 2015. After that I've acquired more watches and none get worn for more than a few weeks at a time as I rotate them.

SS GMT Master 1675 on Jubilee - worn every day from 1967 to 2020 - 53 years. I've still got it, but it's retired, like me.

1680 sub, which I bought in Tehran, Iran in 1978, ($700.00), and wore exclusively until 2018. It went on dozens of dives in the Red Sea and the Persian Gulf.
I sold it for $14,000.00 and bought a Yachtmaster.

I had my 114270 for one year before I bought my 116200 63600, so I guess a year would be the answer, although the 114270 wasn't my only watch during that time, just my only Rolex.

18 years for me. My now wife gifted me a 11613lb in 2005. Made the mistake of having it serviced in 2018…I now own 6 Rolex all from same AD…this forum didn’t help with restraint…

Sub Date: Feb 2022 until I pass the watch onto my daughter.

I think I’m a 1-and-done, but who knows what the future holds.

I had a five year period where I pretty much just wore one watch, a 1976 Datejust. I’d occasionally work in a Tag or Movado. I switch it up a lot more now as I’ve added a few I love to the watch box and like to give them all a bit more wrist time.

I wore the same watch from '84 to 2019 - 35 years - and I purchased when I was 25. I then gave it to my son when he turned 25. It's ready for another 35 years!

Not necessary true, as I qualify as one. Back in the day (I bought mine in 84/85) most people only owed 1 watch and that was what attracted me to Rolex and the Sub-date, I figured I'd get a watch that I could wear to work, bang around on the weekends playing sports, wear to a nice restaurant or club, and would last for ever. So I wore the Sub everyday for 35 years until I bought a few more Rolex's, even now the SUB gets 70% of wrist time in my rotation...

I had a patient who bought a Sub before he went to Vietnam. Wore it through the war, through a helicopter crash and came into my office 50+ years later wearing the same Sub that was the only watch he ever wore since that time. Looked great. This is really what makes these watches so great.....not collecting them like faberge eggs.

I have a friend who bought a Kermit ~15 years ago. He said that to this day, it only comes off his wrist 3-4 times per year.
