This hurts. Let us know outcome (RSC/local watch maker) of turnaround/estimated cost.

I just read another thread a few days ago where a BLRO insert was broken and was sent to RSC and they replaced it for $308 but that was on a 126710 not sure if they charge extra when working with PM.

I have had the same experience as you. My 2018 BLRO was practically my daily beater until two years ago. No issues other than hairlines on the underside of the bracelet.

If producing the BLRO bezel is just fraught with issues and not sustainable, then my expectation is that should these fail on a large scale that Rolex would replace them with a comparable alternative (BLNR, but then they'd have to change the GMT hand to match). If they do introduce a black/red "Coke" bezel that would make the most sense. Again, this is assuming we reach a place where Rolex gives up trying to manufacture this ceramic or is unable to make a more robust version of it. |

Makes me a bit nervous for my BLRO.
Is there any word from anybody who has had a cracked bezel of Rolex replacing this under warranty? I understand if you hit the watch its not their fault - but if its fragile then technically it should be warranted even outside of the 5 year. |

I had an Omega with a ceramic bezel replaced under warranty. However, this was found a few days after pickup and I had a picture of the watch while at the dealer that I was able to reference to show the crack was there (I just didn't notice until I was at home a few days later). I would search through your photos and try to find any pics of when you first got the watch to see if the crack happened to be there from the factory (assuming this was an AD or a grey dealer who may be open to working w/you). If not, I would imagine this would be an out of pocket repair.

Funny thing, I was just watching “It wasn’t me” by Shaggy YouTube videos this weekend.

A 2018 BLRO comes with MK1 bezel. I wonder can RSC offer a MK1 bezel for replacement in case I broke my bezel

Agree. As an official extension of the Dallas Rolex Service Center, Williams does an excellent job. I, too, like them better than Dallas. Good luck! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

My guess is you banged it the last time you wore it but didn't realise, then when you woke up you saw it and seemed to appear from nowhere. They may be more fragile than non two primary colour inserts but they are not that precious or we would have had tons of spontaneous combustion reports over the years.

Another vote for RSC. I think there’s a good chance they’ll warranty it, they can probably tell if it was from impact or defect. If you have to pay still the best source.

Yikes... now there's an expensive fix...
Unfortunately it'll be an "out-of-pocket" expense. Good luck, op. These Cerachrom inserts are brittle as all hell..

I’d have RSC evaluate for possible warranty. Worst thing is they say you have to pay for a bezel.
