I’d like to see more Pepsis on G10s — there must be more of you out there with them on. I love the bracelets too, but I enjoy the less formal look and prefer them when I do watery kinds of activities for obvious reasons.

You should try the adjustable single pass NATO straps, they don't have that tail. Or you could just cut the extra bit off a normal NATO.

I sometimes swap the oyster bracelet on my 16710 for a Barton leather strap just for a little variety. I think the NATO straps make the GMT look cheap, but they can take a soaking whereas water ruins most leather straps. I don't wear the leather strap when there's rain in the forecast.

if you think you might like it, there's little downside to trying it out (and if it makes the precious Rolex crowd clutch their pearls a bit, well, bonus.....)

I stand with Stan on this one. Leave it on its original bracelet. Than again, visualizing a grunt slogging thru the jungles of Vietnam wearing a Sub on a NATO or a pilot in a B52 or F4 wearing a GMT on a NATO is cool! So the pics of older GMTs with lug holes on a NATO I don't mind.

Started wearing them when i was in the military and fell in love. Although nothing beats a folded link or rivet bracelet imo
