Incomparable is correct! It is MY first and only Rollie. Congratulations on a most excellent choice. And since I've already got my dream watch, maybe I ought to look into a batman watch like your son's?

Congrats, it is a fantastic watch. I wore mine today and caught myself staring at it several times. That seems to happen alot with this watch.

Congrats on the gift. The more I see this watch the more I'm liking it. Especially in the polar white dial. For some reason it seems to fit into every situation. Simplicity in design. Just looks right!!!! Got to get one......

The watch was a birthday present from my beautiful wife, and a total surprise. I was completely thrown off by it being in a crumpled bag next to a few b-day drawings from my kids. Now the pressure is on!! Her birthday is in about three weeks....Oy! My son, whose birthday is a couple weeks before mine and for which he got a Batman watch, was not impressed by the Explorer II....He said something like "Just white?? Where's Batman? Not even Spiderman?"

I joined this forum two days after receiving this amazing piece and I've become obsessed....My wife is completely bewildered. She didn't think there were forums where people posted regularly about watches. I tell her it's her fault that I'm a TRF'er now. Just wait until I start coming home with watches to start my collection!

Anyway, thanks for being such a welcoming group, and for sharing your knowledge and good nature.

All the best!

A few pictures.....I'm not a pro photographer like some of you, but I'm sure you can relate to the excitement I was feeling while taking these shots.

Great Pics!! Welcome

hmmm...after being happy single and free, this thread has motivated me to find a life partner to share her generosity with me.
