If you don't travel and don't need the dual time-zone function, I think the SS Sub-date is complimented beautifully by the SS/Pt. YM!!

I'm not sure if TT can work here, but for me it would be a SS Sub-C and a TT GMT IIC.

BTW, there was no option to select "SS Sub-C LN + SS Sub-C OV" I'm pretty sure some collectors will pick them both up for next xmas...

Daytonas are perfectly acceptable :-). In my case they are more than I want to spend on a Rolex and I do prefer a watch with the date function.

I personally think the GMT ii C and Divers look to much a like. Since my first was a GMT ii CC, I went with the GMT ii C and Yacht Master (SS/PT).

Subbie and IIC would be my choice.

I am working on getting the GMT hopefully soon, or maybe later.

Thanks for all who participated. I voted Sub + DSSD initially, mainly to try to persuade me that I should keep my DSSD, but I came to the painful realization that it is really not a good everyday watch for me. I'll most likely end up with a GMTIIC.
