Real nice wrist shot photograph.

The watch looks brand new & the bezel glistens.

The movement is one of the finest pieces of chronograph engineering you could find.

Not really anything not to like.

Congrats Patrick! You're right. It does look more mature than the subs. Wear it in good health!

What was I thinking? Why on earth did I wait this long to get this piece? The size is perfect for a mix of sport and dress watch! The weight is and comfort is ideal! The quality is impeccable (for a mass produced watch) and it just sings loud and beautifully to me!!!

That may be the best looking watch I have ever seen. congrats

The Zenith has the skinny hands. I owned a black dial Zenith Daytona too and I could not read the darn thing. I sold it as well with no regrets. Made money on it so I was placated by that.

Have the modern Daytona now and can read it well..

My wife just noticed the Daytona on my wrist (I was wondering how long it would take, always a fub game). She loves it! (note to self: guard it, she already has my 16610...)

And I finally manage to get all (I hope) of the plastic off - tricky little suckers as always...

Readability: much better than the black Zenith, which has hands that are too thin and don't differentiate enough with the underlying dial and sundials. Love the white dial Zenith though, I was thinking of one.

It looks great Patrick.

If you had bought the white one you would have heard the Vienna Boys Choir.

You will never regret this purchase. It is practical art for the wrist. It does it's job as well as any and makes you feel good whenever you look at it. Enjoy it for many years to come.

Gotcha. So the "Fat Hands" Daytona Black really made the difference, eh?

Looks great! Glad it sings to you this time around.

And I agree about the plastic stickers/pieces. Even after having it for a few months, I actually found two more very small pieces that I missed taking off.

Very nice, congratulations! I seem to remember from another thread that you also have the JLC master chrono. IMO that one and the Daytona are the best looking chronos out there. Which one do you prefer?

The Daytona never did a whole lot for me, however, that wrist shot you posted has me thinking about it in an entirely different way. It looks amazing!
