That's a shame. He's a great player that the NHL needs. Marc Savard is living proof of your "one hit away from retirement" comment. The last hit he took was anything but vicious and he's pretty much done. Pro sports is really gonna take a hit (pardon the pun) with this concussion epidemic. More stud players will be retiring early.
