Exactly. Most handsome and elegant Rolex by far. It makes a powerful statement for those that know.

I had aquick question some of the real experts ere can answer
If any platuim wath get polished weekly with a Shilo type cloth or equivalent , this is softer type metal, platinum, , would that create a problem due to these types of clothes having minute tiny microscopic type diamond dust which acts as a type of deep cleaner or minute abrasion that removes dirt and scratches

Congrats on making a great choice! That watch will look great with everything from a suit to jeans.

Even though platinum is harder than gold, I would still only use a microfiber cloth for polishing. I'd never use something abrasive.

You better start walking around with a weight in your other hand to keep the biceps proportionate. Congrats you can retire from Rolex forums now. Mission complete.

Big congrats from a smaller cousin...

I couldn't agree more. Picked up the earlier 118206 a couple weeks ago and still find it hypnotic. Glad you have the wrist for a DD II mine are too small But you're right about the Glacier dial. Not so much bling as it is the pinnacle of Elegance. And NOTHING feels like or has the amazing statistics of platinum. Congrats Again -Ron

I use a Selvyt polishing cloth from England on my PT 118206. They have a web site. You won't see a lot of tarnish come off on the cloth, like with gold or silver, but it does impart a nice shine to the metal. I would never use anything with diamond dust on platinum. But perhaps others have a different view. Congrats Again -Ron
