Yeah,Grand Seiko is really something. But,that`s not only hi-class line produced by Seiko. You have that amazing Credor line, positioned slightly below Grand Seiko. And most expensive Japanese watch ever is made with Credor logo, legendary Credor Sonerie.
And Credor is also known for their skeleton models,I`ll post some pictures when I find them. |

Great Seiko Post
Seiko's are the best buy in watches. I have a 6309 7049 Diver that is my everyday watch. I recived it as a High School graduation present in 1978. Thats 30 years this May and going strong. Jim

They`re without competition in that department.
One of my friends got vintage Grand Seiko! Man,that`s a great watch.Superb quality and finish,on the same level(maybe even bigger)as their Swiss competition. But,GS always was(and still is)an expensive watch! |

I love Seiko watches! I have two of them and would never part with any of them.
Seiko makes phenomenal quality watches. Probably the best you can get for your buck in that price range. Here's my beloved Seiko Sport's 100, given to me as an Xmas gift in 1985. IMHO, one of the most beautiful Seiko's ever made: This Seiko I bought some years back. Hardly ever use it, but the Kinetic Auto Relay is quite ingenious. One shake of the watch, and the hands tune in on the "remembered" (stored) time after it has been lying inactive for a while: Besides that, Seiko ranks right among the few manufactories that made everything entirely in-house. See this sticky by "Padi56" about watch companies.

After daily wear the past 3 months, I am very impressed with the 7s26 movement on my Seiko Diver. The build quality of the watch is good. Not a scratch on the Hardlex. Lume's amazing. An awesome tool watch. Highly recommended.

Seiko:
Great watches. Rugged, reliable and a lot of them have genuine style. I still have a couple of older ones from my youth. They were built to last a lifetime. I want one of the Spring Drives. What an awesomely engineered marvel. Terry Newton

My favorite Seiko is my vintage World Time. I've had it for about 40 years. I recently had it overhauled. It looks/runs like new and will be around long after I'm planted.
