Moon Watch or Schumacher Speedy?

Same watch, they put more accessories in a bigger box and increase the price. My vote is for SMP if you have only one. I had the Schumi but sold it and kept the SMP.

Also the bracelet has changed from pins to screws on the new reference. Apart from that the bracelet and watch is the same.

That's a pretty big plus, but if I buy new, I will probably buy it on a leather strap. I'd keep it on leather in the winter, and rubber/nato in the summer. That way I can take it into the pool, or do some stuff around the house without worrying about the bracelet getting hit.

You might want to think twice before taking a Speedy into a pool. Especially the 3570.50.

I read several old threads on this topic, and it seems like it can take my "chilling in the pool with a beer" water requirements.

When you mentioned not wanting to harm bracelet by it getting hit, it sounded like more than chillin with a beer. I still wouldn't take a Speedy in a pool, but to each their own.

I love my January 1969 145.022-69. Sure, I'd love an earlier one, but I think I found the sweet spot between heritage and price, with this one. I'm the second owner. I have no interest in a newer Speedmaster than this one. Here is a pic of it on its bracelet. In the warmer months, I wear it on a Heuerville rallye strap, which I really enjoy.
