Glad I could help. From my research, JM really is the best option for those of us in the US. Here's some more good info, they have a strong relationship with Rolex & if you should suffer a loss your replacement ships directly from Rolex, not a local AD. I found this out after asking what happens if I have to file a claim on my Daytona....it's not like I could just walk into an AD & pick-up a replacement. They told me the replacement would come right away directly from Rolex even for SS. Obviously vintage claims are handled differently but I have no experience with that side of the house.

You also don't have to provide revised appraisals every time Rolex has a price increase since replacements come from the manufacturer, not a retail distributor. You just need to provide a recent appraisal when you start the policy. Adding or removing a piece from the policy is very easy as well & they are always a pleasure to speak with. I could not offer a higher endorsement to an insurance company.

This makes a big difference in the way I use and wear my watch (e.g., everywhere, for everything) knowing that if I do something stupid, it'll be covered, at a bargain price!
I do the same for my 4 watches....My AD gave me a typed valuation assessment for replacement value on all 4 watches for free when I picked up my SD back at the beggining of July.....It makes a big difference if they are storded in a quality safe and seperated from the boxes and paperwork.

I added my SD to my Liberty Mutual homeowner's policy. The watch costs around 9 a month to insure.

I just started a policy today with http://www.jewelersmutual.com/

~165/year for my PAM111 & Sub with a $25 dollar deductible. The difference between a $500 deductible & $25 deductible was only about ten bucks more per year.

Not bad for piece of mind!

+2 for Jewlers Mutual.

I have my watches insured through them and in Indiana it's only $1 per $100 insured with $0 deductible.
