We had the same Rolex event last saturday in germany in Cologne with the same models. Unfortunately I don't made any photo from the event, because I left my iPhone at home.

I don't want to hijack the thread, but want to ask a quick question to Rolex owners that live in Brazil. I live in South America as an expat and currently don't own a Rolex. One reason is that I am worried about it getting robbed. Or worse being targeted for a robbery because of wearing a Rolex.

Do you wear a Rolex everywhere in Brazil or do you leave it in a safe place if you go to certain areas or walk on the street? In other words, do you take certain precautions when wearing an expensive watch? Obrigado.

This truly depends on your surroundings. If in a large city, like Rio or São Paulo, there are certainly situations/neighborhoods in which I would abstain from wearing an expensive watch. This goes for almost every large urban center in the world, but in Brazil and other developing nations it may occur more often, depending on where you are specifically located.

In Brasilia, the capital, I can honestly say that I have never felt insecure to wear my watches, be it Rolex, Patek, Omega, Breitling, etc. YMMV.
