Any regrets? I would have kept the SD, but I don’t particularly care for the 6-digit cases....and I like having the date. And, the SD is just badass.

A few regrets every once in a while. But I didn’t have a sub in the collection and personally believe that every collection needs one (just my opinion). As much as I loved the SD and classic proportions, the 6 digit models are all around better quality from the bezel to the bracelet, it just feels much more substantial of a watch. Plus it’s a no date sub. I really enjoy it and right now I have this and a birth year 16570. I feel very grateful and privileged to be able to own multiple rolexes either way.

16600 and 114060 are both fantastic watches

Cheers!

Interesting

Hi I know old threads get woken up from time to time hehe, but I’m thinking of selling my 114060 and getting a 16600. I have an sd43 and a few key watches already like the hulk, DSJC etc (background to prevent overlapping advice) but I just find the new Rolexes too heavy and I’m a 6’3 guy weighing 110kg! My 2008 16570 is SOO comfortable that I imagine the 16600 will be perfect and it has better proportions and a date..

How are you still finding your swap from 16600 to 114060?
thanks
