Never use a self winding box as it is NOT simulating hands movement and I doubt that it may hurt the movement gradually as well as the watch keep rotating for long time.

I use the most basic box to store them

When I got my safe I sold the winder. Didn't use it much anyway but kept the Wolf case, which holds 4 watches, they gave me when my first winder crapped out

Just in the Box they came in though you really have to find the right position to leave the box as certain positions will cause the Watch to run fast or slow

I keep mine all in their original boxes. Granted I only have a few pieces....but every now and then I like to look at all the paper work etc.

I am thinking about getting my first safe. I would like to have a relatively small safe which is NOT deep, since I would bolt it into a wall. Any tips for a good safe like this?

Never worried that they get stolen at the fault in the bank?

Couple of weeks ago here in Holland an inside job cracked open 300 vaults inside one of the biggest well known banks. That is one big drama... I read somewhere insurance is up to 40k euro, but you have to have proof etc.

Just stuff to think about, that this still happens...

I put mine in a watch box that can hold up to 12 watches and has a drawer underneath for additional storage of straps, tools, etc. I think I paid about $20 for it on Amazon!

LVc, BLNR and the two JLCs are on winders. The rest are in a watch box.

On an 8 watch winder. Been using a winder for 20+ years, love the convenience.

In a nice watch box placed on the shelf in my floor safe which is bolted to the floor and wall. The safe has a 1 hour fire rating with 6 gauge steel walls and 14 one and a half inch diameter locking door bolts.

Leave the one I will wear the next day on the dresser set and wound, while the others go into watchboxes.

The one I’m wearing is next to my phone at night. The others locked away ‘safe’ and sound
