Absolutely a everyday one and only. It’s a Sub and a flashy one at that. Why not? What Rolex isnt a everyday watch?

I feel like the Hulk is the opposite of an everyday watch. It’s more of the perfect complementary piece.

I knew a local guy (car dealer) who bought one of these as his inly watch. I'm not sure he kept it a year. I understand why. The green bezel and dial is a nice gimmick but for a lot of guys, it gets old quickly. I own a 16610 that I bought new. That's my Sub collection. Gettin a variant of it makes little sense to me (but I also own a Pepsi bezel 16710 so that's my variation on the theme. My last Rolex is the one I bought first back in 1989 - a 16233. For me, that's all the Rolex watches I ever wanted save for a Day-Date but that's now a bit on the gaudy side for my current tastes not too mention too much money for precious metal over stainless which is not available in the DD.

Can it be an everyday watch? Absolutely.
Do YOU want it to be YOUR everyday watch? |

Wear it every day if you like a green watch.
Or wear a blue one if you prefer.

It wouldn't be my one and only if I had a choice.....but I won't deny that I love this watch very much. Crazy beautiful in different lighting and just the right amount of punch in a watch....doesn't scream for attention yet captivates in a subtle way asking someone to look @ it closer from different angles.

When I had my LV - the green did sometimes clash with certain colours of clothing and I would end up wearing something different or change the watch. With other things it looked great.
So for me it never worked as a one and only. |

Absolutely !
I just picked one up and can easily see it being a daily driver.
I also have the RED Seadweller, but I already find the Hulk more comfortable as a daily wear. The green also does pop and you will never find that on a BLNR. Also, if you like divers you will not be happy with the bezel action on a GMT. |

Speaking from experience I would say it’s more of a weekend or special occasion watch. Daily should be more tone down to fit all situations IMO. To me BLNR is the perfect combo of conservative with a splash of color.
That said you could certainly try it out to see for yourself! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

If you had to, SUre, there are WORST things in life, than to have a ROLEX as your one and only, specially that amazing dial..:)
I don't see why not, but variety is the spice of life. so for me, no

Not for me. I had mine for 6 months and sold it. That was way before “it was about to be dis-continued”. To me its not versatile at all and i hated it with dress clothes. Also, the cloudy bezel got old for me. Great dial is beautiful though and perfect for a medium to large collection.

Yeah I love mine and I rotate it for a few days. For me it works in all situations. Casual, dressy etc. The green makes it really stand out.
I actually think it looks better than the Smurf.

I really like the Hulk but I can't use it as an only watch or everyday watch, I would get bored with it in this case

Hulk as an only and everyday watch ?
For me, you should get it if you can find one (but not at silly gray prices) because it is an epic watch. However, its probably not a watch for absolutely any occasion but a gshock and a Seiko Sarb 033 could cover other bases for very little additional outlay.

For one and only I'd prefer a neutral colour. 116610LN .

In the long run the green would not be as good for me as black. I could make the Submariner ND-C a one and only.

Yes, only in direct sunlight does it light up, indoors it's more like a black sub.

It couldn't be a daily watch for me but I would definitely wear it every St Patty's Day.

Agreed. That green bezel stands unless the clothing attire matches somewhat it. I love my 116610LV but can’t bring myself to wearing it more than 1x per week or two. I end up wearing my GMT II BLNR more often. I will say on one thing. That specific Sub's green dial w/ a black bezel would be awesome. Too bad the ceramic bezels are basically unremovable w/o breaking a part. |
