Those two Sky Ds in the pic should be WG models.

Here is a closer pic of the Sky Ds.
The last 5 digits are 89,600.
I am pretty sure the asking price was 2,289,600.

If the price was 1,479,600
I would of bought both of them.

If you live in Japan and want to check their Dky D price 03-3573-1879. Rolex Boutique Lexia.

the white with Ivory roman dial is white gold. The white gold with white dial a little lower is strange because Rolex didn't make white gold on strap with white dial. Must be custom, I have a feeling that white with blue dial is white gold, which is pretty awesome.

I just saw one at an AD last week. Pricing is about 46k and it looks exactly like the SS version blue. I was very surprised when they told me that was white gold, and so I called the Rolex distributor and asked them about it. They confirmed that it is legit and although it was not shown in the Rolex website and brochures, that material is WG. When I held the watch and compared against another PM SD at the same AD, they felt exactly the same in terms of weight. It is simply bizarre why Rolex would make a one-off at circa same price as the rest of PM SD (in secret?)

Can anyone confirm if such a version exists?

I believe they now have a blue dial in WG. As far as I know Lexia Ginza boutique is biggest Rolex store in Japan and probably second biggest next to the one in Dubai mall. Nice store but packed with tourists from everywhere.

Please check the pic attached where you can see three dial variations of WG Sky Ds which is black, blue and white with bar indexes. I live in Japan and this is what they have in their website now.

Hi thanks for the screenshot but I believe the Oystersteel and WG refer to the bracelet and bezel respectively. Full WG model should be listed as WG only.

Also, a key piece of information I saw on this model is Reference 326939. It's on the tag of the "WG SD" I saw at the AD.

This ^.

The WG in the description is referring to the bezel. Basically anytime you see Oystersteel + WG it's a SS watch with a fluted bezel.

Gentlemen,

Sorry my bad, the pic was indeed the wrong one. However I just went to Lexia and confirmed these are WG and right now WG only comes with bar indexes with either blue, white or black dial. The price tag is 4,989,600 yen.

And none at Authorized ADs.

Went to Isetan Shijuku AD.
They won’t let me take a picture of their empty display case.
No big loss ... they didn’t have any SS anyway.

I think that’s it for me for going to ADs.
Nothing except for DJs and some PMs.

If I see DayC at grey with decent price, I’ll buy it.

Japan is both fun and frustrating for Rolex. The vintage shopping (or window shopping) is amazing!

Daikokuya - not a store I was familiar with until it opened up on Bond St in London. A little treasure trove full of bags, jewellery and watches!

When I was in Japan in December 2016, I went to an AD based in Tokyo. They sold the brand new 116610 for $7000!!!!

Japan is the cheapest for Rolex prices at that time!

In Hong Kong, there is a small shopping mall (called CKE shopping mall, not the Chungking Mansions where only sells the fake) https://goo.gl/maps/RJxo6dbdZiu for many grey dealers , it locates on the Nathan Road in Tsim Sha Tsui.

As we are the local, we visit there more often than the other tourist area, you may spend sometimes there and take a look, they should have some better price compared to others.

Sad to say, but there are no deals to be had anymore or at least for the time being in Japan.
