Really awesome, Seth! I know the Polar is one of your favorites as well. Your father is very lucky to have such a generous son.

I just called him and asked him to send me a pic. Didn’t take any tonight, but I’ve git them in my photos so I’ll find more.

He already put it in the box for a nice rest. I love that he’s with that for years. But it’s now on the sidelines.

Love this whole situation right now. I’m giddy like a kid myself.

Edit: actually noticing the date just now. So this is a stock picture of his. God, how I live that he’s taken random pictures of his watch and has them on his phone.

That's a really nice gesture, I am sure he is over the moon.

By the way what rubber strap do you have on the Omega? It looks good.

This is OEM. Just picked up today. It’s the new SMP on rubber. The strap is super.

The watch is awesome.

I’m glad to hear that you and your dad share in this hobby Seth. I’m sure he loves and appreciates the Exp 2 as much as the DD2.

I hope his health improves too

Thank you for sharing, such a heartwarming story. I know you’ll get way more joy out of your dad wearing the explorer 2 than you having it. Memories for a lifetime. Good on you!

It’s one of my all time favorites, but nothing better than seeing it on him.

He took off the YG DD2 I gave him a few years ago and strapped this puppy right on. It was like watching a kid at Christmas.

His health isn’t good these days, so this was a really great moment.

Watches have always been a connector for us. One of the reasons I love them so much.
Awesome! It seems like a crazy, out-of-control world we live in these days, and to read this warms my heart
