I Treble check mine with my 25 different phone apps on 10 different phones, plus two radio controlled clocks and two atomic clock computer apps for confirmation to a thousandth of a second.Do you guys think I am getting {CCTS} constant checking time syndrome. But in the real world I check once a week or so with my quartz kitchen clock. If its more than a minute out will adjust, thank god my life not run to the exact second.

I used to be very particular about checking accuracy (daily, with several sources). Now, I monitor a watch closely for only the first week of ownership to get a feel for how it runs as I’ve made a push towards pre owned watches under warranty recently. I usually sync my watch time against my phone at the end of every month.

My sub conscious brain to detect if it’s off and phone to adjust it. If I think what I am wearing is running slow or fast I reach for the phone to check. Otherwise I don’t check them. I set time to time.gov or my phone.

I have gotten over checking the accuracy of my watches. I just set them when I think of it with https://nist.time.gov/.

I use the Watchville app if I have the time to fiddle with it.
Otherwise, I just use the clock on my cable box. I'm not as obsessive about it as I used to be. |

Excellent. Plenty of options for me to try out.
It doesn’t really matter to me, my watches hold great time week to week, but I’m just interested to see!

What is everyone’s experience with the Toolwatch app?
When I pressed record this morning in the app I noticed the time was one minute ahead of actual time. I believe this could explain the -70 seconds result on my one month old watch. Testing again to verify. |

I used to use time.gov but recently found a app called Atomic Clock & Watch Accuracy Tool. Its a lot of fun tracking watches and saved me from buying a timegrapher. Current new Rolex is 1/2 sec slow a day now over 11 days. One of the best Rolexs I have ever had accuracy wise.

iPhone or HODINKEE app for the audible 5 secs count. Otherwise I’m fortunate to have been gifted a Lepsi analyser which helped diagnose a very low amplitude on my 1603 which explained why it was losing a minute a day.

I set it to my iPhone when daylight savings time was over and it’s still in sync (which also happens to be one of my favorite boy bands)

The clock at the top of this page. If I can’t trust the Rolex forum clock then all is lost...
