Enjoy the watches, and if you feel like so, downsize. Nothing wrong with having fewer watches. The worst thing you could do is horde some random timepieces w/o any special meaning and not wear them at all.

1) Selling a watch makes you unhappy 2) Buying a watch for a good price makes you uncomfortable then I would say you are in the wrong hobby psychologically. All of the things that should make you enjoy the hobby (buying, enjoying and then selling for breakeven or profit; buying opportunistically and selling high) are making you unhappy. This ain't for you.

None of those watches are rare or close to rare...if you do sell them they are easily replaceable. You are making a big fuss about nothing...it’s not like you have or are selling a drsd, gilt dial, 4 digit or SS daytona....those are watches I would not sell because they are hard and expensive to replace

it is a weird thing, because i now have a bee in my bonnet about owning a DD, yet go back two years and it was all SS, i dident even have a daydate on my radar, now i cant wait to get shot of the SS, it bores me to tears in all honesty. Work that out.

There was a funny video floating around on FB a couple of years ago...a woman was complaining to her husband that she was having these horrible headaches. The funny part was that she had a nail driven into her skull. The really funny part was that whenever he tried to tell her the reason she was having the headaches was because she had a nail sticking out of her head, she would start crying and accuse him of not listening to her or trying to help with her problem.
It's a silly and funny video. But, there is some truth to it. The point of it is that we all are at the root of our own unhappiness. Even if we didn't put that nail in, for some reason, we've chosen to leave it in and not pull it out. You've told us what you're doing that makes you feel bad and why. So...don't do that anymore. Or, try the reverse. Figure out what makes you happy and do that. Either way, you'll be better off than you are now. Good luck, |
