Based only on looks I'd keep the SD.

Thats a tough call. I have both and am strongly considering a consolidation move. I have already made up my mind that the SD stays and the BLNR goes. But again, tough call.

Without knowing what else is in your collection I would sell/trade the SD43 for a ND Submariner and a Omega Speedmaster. Two for one and there is enough there to do it if you pick up the Speedmaster pre-owned. One great watch for two great and classic ones.

That's a tough one. Both great pieces. If one had to go, it would be the SD43.

I've got both and my suggestion is to keep both!

But if money is a problem then I'd keep the SD. An anniversary piece is a big deal when it comes from rolex

Given your wrist apparent wrist size, I’d say the BLNR fits you better. That being said, what you keep is purely your preference. Follow your gut

Had both.

Sold the SD43. Why? It is too flash imho for what should be a total tool watch. The 16600, SD4k or DeepSea are superior and more 'honest' divers.

The BLNR is a classic and incredibly versatile.

I like them both. They are very different looking and wearing watches, so for me it would be tough part with either of them. Sorry, I'm no help to you.

My advice. Keep both. Don't get rid of either. Both amazing pieces. Don't do it!

Very scary advice. I jumped to PM May of 2017 and bought two more PM watches in 2018. My SS gets zero wrist time. I’m even thinking of doing the unimaginable and selling my Kermit and TT to get a YG Submariner. Do not upgrade to PM until you’re ready to stop wearing SS.

If you can only keep one, then the keeper is the BLNR

Do you travel? If so, sell the SD.

Do you dive? If so, sell the GMT

If you do neither, why did you buy them in the first place?

I guess it would depend on your lifestyle.

Aesthetically, I would keep the BLNR.

SD 43 without question my friend - the BLNR is a modern classic for sure....especially if it's discontinued.

Depends what I have, and what's coming in...
Those two are a hot commodity as of late so the choice is crucial.
On face value if just going from two to one, I'd give a slight nod to keeping the BLNR for me.

Sell SD as it looks too big, BLNR can only climb in value too, and perhaps is easier to wear all round.

I wouldn't let either one go, TBH, unless you're sick of looking at it, of course.

If you absolutely have to get rid of one, I guess the BLNR, as it does nothing for me. But...I think you're going to regret it.

I have small wrists, so I know that the SD43 would dwarf me. The model doesn't speak to me, personally. I'd keep the BLNR, no hesitation.
