Here’s a 34mm on a 6.5in wrist

Not that small IMO.

In my opinion it looks good on you but it depends on your style preferences. 36mm does in my opinion come off as a bit understated these days (I know a DJ is a bit on the blingy side for that but anyhow...) and is a perfect size if you don’t want to wear it as a statement.

I think it looks good and not small at all.

I personally prefer being able to see some of the bracelet or strap when looking at the watch top down on the wrist.
I see so many wearers of the SubC where the lugs just overhang the wrist (me included) and that looks wrong imo

Honestly it’s way too small and the diamond bezel makes it look like a girls watch. Just being real. I bought a DJ41 and it was actually too small on my 7.25 inch wrist. So I got a DJ2. Trust me on this. Find a DJ2. The DJ41 is actually a 39.5mm watch but on a jubilee it wears even smaller with the tapered lugs. The DJ2 is a true 41mm watch and it wears perfect imo for wrist above 7.5 inches.

Left side is DJ41 and right side is dj2

Depends on the look you're going for. When I look at your picture I see a slightly smaller watch than is contemporary, but it makes me think more along the lines of vintage than you having bought a watch that was too small. If you like it for sure keep it. If you don't like the look or sentimental value.....go 40mm.....or 41mm....or ....43mm. Wear what YOU like.

Are you kidding? It looks great on you! Tony Soprano wore a 36 YG DD, if I’m not mistaken, and that looked great on him. Wear yours and enjoy it. It’s a stunner.

Sorry, it looks like you borrowed a girl's watch.

The Sub would be perfect for you.

I have a smaller wrist and I max out at a 40mm size comfortably. A 41mm DJ is right on the very edge for me.
Yeah, me too. My BLNR is about my max, so OP, count your blessings. That 36 DJ looks fantastic and you can also rock larger than 40. You can wear anything.

Definitely too small.
My wrist size is smaller than yours, and I would not wear that. The Sub or DJ41 is the perfect size.
Not trying to be offensive, but my wife wears the 36mm DJ.

Looks good. Datejust 36 mm is classic as much as 47 mm Panerai.

It is not a matter of size itself but overall design

Now if you had 47 mm Datejust and 36 mm Pam.....

Have you ever seen Rolex place a 36mm watch on Roger Federer as he is raising a trophy?
No. Because he is not a chick.

Nothing wrong with it ..a classic Rolex

Forget that nonsense! It’s a classic timepiece and the size is perfect. I rotate mine with a GMT. Nothing wrong with a 36mm DJ at all.

You´re good with 36mm and up, you can rock 36-44mm

Hey everybody,

I had the same notion, that a 36mm DJ would be too small, especially coming from 47mm Panerai and 44mm Deepsea. My Wrist is 8,5 inch and everytime I put on a 36mm Piece it is small the first day and then it mystically grows until it fits.

Don´t worry, if you love that timepice, rock it proudly and don´t care about the size.

Best regards

Torsten

P.S: I am not allowed to post pictures yet, will do later...

The watch is fine, the bezel..........not so much. It is a classic watch, that fly's under the radar unless someone wants to grab some sparkle attention, which turns it into something your sister would wear. Get the Sub, or better yet, sell the bezel and replace with a engine turned or fluted.

I think the bezel makes it look feminine which is fine if that's what your after. No problem with the size however.

I totally agree with this. The 36mm looks small if you show your arm. But with sleeves it should be OK.

I have a 7 inches wrist and a 31mm YG datejust with president bracelet. 31mm is small, but with a suit it looks OK.

In my eyes, yes it does look small. But I like a larger watch. However, if you like a smaller watch, then that's all that matters, surely?

It looks on the smaller side because this is 2019 and we are used to seeing larger watches. But it works for you imo.

If you had asked this question 20 years ago the views would be very different.

Sadly, fashion and trends do play a part in what many consider “correct”. Check this advert out.

I’m ok with OP wearing 36, but 31 on 7” wrist, seriously?!?
