RG CHNR is a good looking watch. I’m also debating moving some watches for a pm watch. I still can’t decide.

It’s a big NO for me. I don’t mind Rolex everose gold, but that brown on the bezel irritates me.

Appreciate the comment (and trade approval;) I have definitely considered this. I only have roughly $30K CAD into both watches so adding a bit to get into a $45K CAD watch is ok with me

Mostly struggling with letting them go and entering into full gold Rolex world lol

Absolutely! My brother in law picked one up when he was visiting over Xmas; watch is stunning in person, one of my favorites for sure!

Question is would you move an oyster BLNR and RG IWC Portuguese 7day to get it?

This would still leave me with my OP39 white & Seiko Diver

What say you TRF

1. It’s a gorgeous piece and I would do that trade if it makes you happy.

2. I wear my YG GMT or YG DD quite a bit and have never thought of them as “sticking out”. Truth be told, we WIS put far more thought into these things than the public. If you make the trade, wear it and love it.

Yes. Values on the BLNR are high and you will love the heft and feel of PM!

Definitely don't do it then, to trade two watches you still love for one I think is a downgrade. I would save up to make an addition rather than a subtraction. If you absolutely have to I would get rid of one for one and pay the difference definitely not two for one

Do you think this is “in your face”?

That’d be a nice upgrade. I traded one of my SS to get a PM Daytona, now looking to trade some others to get either a PM BLRO or Smurf.

I think with the elevated SS values and appreciating gold prices, now is an ideal time to trade up to PM for those in this position.

Theres no doubt that the Blnr prices are peeking for now so it might be a good time to make a deal if your ready for a move. Mines a keeper no matter the market. For many PM is a grail or a next level piece. I don't see it that way. To me it's just jewelry. I guess I'm a die hard SS fan and would spend that extra on a higher end piece. Good luck to you if you strike a deal though, It is a good looker..

I think of a GMT as a travel watch, but when I travel, I don’t like to attract attention, so I probably wouldn’t get this particular solid gold Rolex ...
