Stop bringing attention to less desired watches.

They’re doing what they’re doing just fine.

To everyone reading, they’re s__t. Cheap valjoux you can hear rotating a mile away in a tissue thin case. Pathetic size too.

Garbage watch.

These Watches were made by Rolex except for the 7750 movement.
The Rolex lineage is very evident.
TIGER on the dial does not bother me at all, however, if it read TIGER WOODS, that would.
I like him as a golfer, but not on my watch.

Thats a great deal and the best looking tiger I've seen. I agree in not liking a persons name or tiffany anything on a watch, rare or not but yours in the white print doesn't stand out like the red. I like Tiger Woods, that wouldn't really deter me on a Tudor chrono, its a great bang for the buck and the big blocks are a little too chunky, I do like the 79260 as well. I've been treading the waters lately for my first chrono and get hot and cold on a Speedy, been thinking of a JLC Polaris but not wanting to spend a whole lot it's tough to beat a Tudor, I have two others. Anyway,,, Congrats! you've got a great looking piece. Enjoy!!...

There are a couple reasons why the Tiger models don’t command the price of some similar alternatives:
1) The Tiger variant era was after the Rolex Crown and Caseback were used. All Big Blocks (791XX) had the Rolex branded parts, and some early 792XX’s also had Rolex parts (often referred to as “Pre-Tiger”). The Tiger version and the Post-Tiger version had all Tudor branding, as well as a version on leather, with Polished lugs, or a unique bracelet.
2) The Tiger versions came in a bunch of “goofy” colors, and introduced the red Chrono seconds hand. It works on some models, and other are downright unattractive.
3) Tiger had a fall from grace for a while, so no one would want that association
4) A lot of people (myself included) don’t value the association of a brand (or model in this case) with a celebrity
5) Most people prefer less writing on the dial. A 7750 Chrono with a date is already pretty busy; adding the “Tiger” text makes the dial almost claustrophobic.

Just my thoughts and hypothesis. I had an “Albino” big block that I sold, but I kept my pre-Tiger porcelain panda with the 12 hour rotating bezel. I predict all pre-2000 Tudors to continue to rise, including the Tiger.

It's a horrible watch and there are two in stock at OC. I swear if one of those is still sitting there in May I'm going to take it off the market so no one has to see it anymore.

Good points I agree that Rolex signing helps the older watches out I’ve heard there’s early tiger with Rolex signed parts

Yup, you'll see early tigers with Rolex crowns and/or casebacks. They'll all be Prince Date dials though.

Yes, this is true. I have one with both a Rolex casevback and crown and another with Rolex crown, all early models 1999 and 2000.

Those (2) watches don’t have box and papers....if they did ...they would have been snatched up. It also don't help that they are overpriced...If they were priced right they would sell.

They're cool! I particularly like the version with the red text.. although I'm not a golf fan, so I wish they said "Tudor" in red as opposed to "Tiger".

Maybe because people would rather have a Tag over this watch?

Show me a Tag (not a vintage Heuer) chrono that looks better than this watch.

I like this watch even more than the Daytona. It's bigger and has a date window, two things lacking on the Daytona that bug me.
