I try to wear every watch in rotation. I haven't been succeeding lately because I keep going to one watch but this will wear off. I always try to give them each an equal turn.

I have 5 watches and wear each one for a week at a time then let them run down. I don't have a watch winder as there are stories on various forums that they damage the bracelets and rotors so have given them a miss.

I wear each watch for a week. That way I get more wrist time to appreciate each watch.

Throw a dice. If the dice drops onto the floor, I'd go with my cheapest watch

I'll typically try to coordinate based on the day's activities and required attire. I don't really bother keeping them wound as most of my watches are easy to set.

Just out of curiosity, under what circumstance would you wear six different watches in a single day?

I have a watch winder so they are all kept up to date. I do enjoy wearing my pieces so I do rotate them during the week. Really depends on the occasion and the functions I’d like to use. Putting them in plain site also helps as I know which one I haven’t shown as much love.

I don't like to be bothered to set any of my watches with complications. So I use a watch winder. They're mostly all just ready to roll, so it's a game day decision.

I'm not a collector, but I have 5 watches. Including a rolex and tudor. I wear what feels right at the time, unless I just got a new watch. For new watches, I wear them every day for a month to get a feel and to bond with them.

I have a general rotation and make changes as I see fit. Anything new gets worn for a couple weeks straight.

I wind all 5 daily wether in the AM or PM and select the one to wear when on my way into work. Typically the GMT gets worn on Monday, Wednesday & Friday’s due to the fact we have to wear dark red polos for work on those days & the red shade of the Coke bezel matches well with it. As for the other 4 watches I just mix it up the other days of the week.

We are still working from home due to the covid-19 concerns. All watches in my collection are just a few steps away :-) In the middle of a long boring meeting, taking a coffee break, going out for a walk, taking some pictures with different clothing, well no excuse needed just simply way too easy and convenient to change watch at any time of the day. Agree it was hard to do before when being required to go to the office.

I just go with whatever I'm feeling at the time. Also wear some watches to check accuracy / time loss.
If they are being worn, they stay on my bedside table, otherwise inside the safe. I find winding / setting the date as a bit of a fun ritual with a watch. |

I have worn but three watches since the lockdown, my 16570, a vintage Tissot, ca. 1963, and an Omega Seamaster, ca. 1960, so currently I'm on hold.
I keep my really good watches at the bank and my "lesser" watches here at home. I switch out watches as the notion strikes me. When I go to the bank to get a watch from there, I'd say it takes me about 5-7 seconds to decide and it's purely a gut feeling. When I choose from my lesser watches, it might take a little longer to rummage through the drawer, but not much longer and again the choice is purely emotional. I don't see any reason complicate the issue. I love them all and I can change out pretty much as I please, so it's just not worth agonizing over.
