Sorry I missed the questions: Regarding wait; roughly 4 months. Approximately 2 weeks before the COVID-19 Shutdown, I casually mentioned that when he receives another Explorer, to let me know. Actually, I had forgotten about it, then I received his text and the rest is history. On the flip side, I only "waited" 3 weeks for my Daytona. :)

Regarding history; deep rooted. I purchased my first Rolex from this AD 35 years ago. Since, I've not been a stranger is his store.

Congrats on the Explorer! I got mine in February, but I had almost an 8 month wait time. I put myself on a wait list June of 2019 and got the call in February 2020. I've been wearing the watch ever since. :D
