Two totally different pieces. I really don't look at the new Kermit as the replacement for the Hulk since the whole 11 line is discontinued. I always liked the substantial case of the 11series Subs but prefer the new Kermit black dial with the green bezel.
Congrats and Enjoy!!...

Yes it is.

However, it wasn’t so much as a lie, as it was more like a “Tongue in cheek” response to her. I believe the fact she wanted me to try on both basically speaks volumes to that effect.

My wife never gave any of my watches a second look. Until...

Years ago we were at a Rolex AD and there was the new black Sub sitting in the case next to a green Sub. I was looking at the black.

She said, I like the green. At least it’s different. Then the sales lady showed her the glide lock and put it on her wrist.

Game over. Bought the green one (Hulk). Wife wears it all the time and now always interested in what watches I am buying.

That's a nice story. You managed to put the glide lock into it. Appears I'm too prejudiced/sexist to believe that was what made your wife want it.

Cheers

She liked the green. But also the Glide lock made it easy for her to adjust it from fitting me to fitting her without my help. She could grab it from my box, adjust it for her and go without me knowing!

I agree, not replacing my Hulk, I love wearing my Hulk, sometimes it’s too much green and nice to break it up. The Hulk sits and wears much different than the new Kermit.

I like the proportions of the new Cermit, but still prefer the green dial of the Hulk.

I guess I'll just have to wait for the Culk.

Your wife is smart.....that's a good one from her and i guess she is not much of a watch lover, my wife knows that in getting me a good gift you must consider getting a watch depending on how much funds you have, so when i get a new watch she spots it immediately she sees it on my wrist.

On a major birthday, my wife pushed me to buy a new Rolex. No price limit. I did.

Dude.... you're always under the wife surveillance (we all are). She just want to remind you she's the boss. Anyway, congrats on your purchase. I'm still waiting for my Kermit from my AD.
