I think generally the older the reference the more it’ll fetch. So in 2040 the Kermit first, hulk 2nd and Cermit third.

Cermit has better proportions from the hulk but it’s soulless and sterile in photos.

Collectors wise, a flat 4 kermit first, then hulk then new cermit...

That's the one I'd chose. It has a lot of firsts also as a Submariner. Very unique reference.

If I was going to collect one it'd be the 16610LV. Just those. As many as I could find.

50th anniversary Kermit..........
Its slimmer, elegant appearance with maxi-dial will be preferred most.
Furthermore, in the future its alu inlay will be very scarce compared with all the ceramics that have been thrown on the market since then......and people will pay for that rarity.
That will be a real advantage

BTW........prices of the 116900 Air King NOS have been risen almost 30 % in one year......
August 2019, I have purchased a NOS one in the Netherlands for € 5.575,-...pure for speculation (furthermore I find it a beauty)
Today I have to pay in the Netherlands at least € 7.200,- .....( = plus 29% )

Both are very special.
The OG LV has the maxi dial and hands, a truly transitional piece, a great combination of modern and vintage, plus that terrific green bezel (variants are ranging from lime green to dark/forest green). The green on the bezel is subtle, while the Hulk is dial ranges from inky to radiant green. Have both and it is really hard to say which one I prefer over the other.

16610lv follows by 126610lv. 116610lv is last.

166610LV-the green dial makes the difference! Collectors will probably divide them in different MKs like they have done with the Kermit- so some ‘variation’ will have more value.

I think 16610LV Y/F serial flat 4 would be the most collectable - 50th anniversary with short production like others mentioned, also a transitional piece with Maxi Dial/Hands.

But then the Hulk is the only one with Green bezel and dial, and upgraded bezel, clasp and bracelet.

To each his own, personally I prefer the aesthetics of the Kermit, but the Hulk with the green dial years down the line will definitely become very collectable.

I’d say hulk with its sunburst and it’s got a head start on cermit as it’s production run has stopped

I think the original Kermit. It is the 50th anniversary, classic case, the only 5 digit with a maxidial.. The green color pops in such a nice and elegant way..
