Is that the Hesalite model? Did you own an 861, or earlier Speedy, and if so how would you describe the difference in them? Is there any compelling reason to trade up in your opinion?
I've got an 861 that I rarely wear. I got in brand-new on trade for another Omega I owned, and it was on the strap. In Houston where I live, straps just aren't comfortable, and I really can't stand the look of the bracelet for that model, so I wear it rarely, and on an Omega Nato when I do. Cut to the new 1861, and it looks like the bracelet has been improved, most definitely in appearance to my eye. I love the idea of the Speedy Pro and I think it's a cornerstone of a collection, along with the usual Rolex models, but it has always underwhelmed me on the wrist. I'm torn on the new one and fear it just might be more of the same. Anyone else with a love/indifferent relationship with this model? Quote:
