You know what you want and can do a deal for it then go for it and don't look back. It is personal preference and you are clear on yours. Good luck and let us know what you decide.

For several years that seemed to be the case and many more of us began to believe it was true, until Rolex introduced the BLRO and the BLNR on Jubilee bracelets. It was ingenious, from my viewpoint, anyway. Returning the Jubilee to the GMT line was not only a nod to the heritage of the GMTs, it was the means by which Rolex could but a BLRO bezel on an SS GMT and distinguish it from the WG BLRO.

I would recommend just getting an Oyster bracelet for it.
Then you get both looks that you can easily swap out.

You are right, Jubilee is underrated and actually is my most favorite band of ALL time. I think my other issue I have with my situation is that I have a DJ 41 jubilee / fluted so I already checked that box BUT the jubilee also adds to the reason WHY I should keep it because it's unusual to have a Jubilee on a sports model! As for the other comments on F Boy, I was being honest because this isn't a "real problem" and I feel stupid even posting it but I do truly want some honest opinions from a community I respect. Also, for the comments on buying an oyster - Rolex is too smart for that. They modified the watch so you can't put an oyster on the watch! |

Is that F = Fan or F = F*ck? Regardless, this seems pretty simple. It sounds like you wanted an oyster BLNR. You don't have that yet, but now you have an opportunity to get it. What is the hold up?
1) It's what you originally wanted 2) It's discontinued and arguably more sought after 3) It uses the proven 3186 movement instead of the 3285 Cons of course are 1) You aren't getting it new 2) It'll never look as good as a 5-digit GMT so who cares 3 pros and only 2 cons, problem solved. |

126710 BLNR on PCL Oyster and Sub Brushed Bracelets
OP, I’ve enjoyed reading your post and the interesting responses. As an owner of the 126710 BLNR, I regularly switch between the brushed Submariner bracelet, PCL Oyster bracelet and the jubilee bracelet the watch came with. I sourced the PCL oyster bracelet on TRF classified. The sub bracelet is from my 114060. I’m attaching some pics of the BLNR on each.

As long as you utilize the same spring bars that came with the 126710, it seems to me to be a perfect fit, or at least nothing noticeable to my eyes. The bracelet reference is 78200. Here’s a picture I just took of it.

I’d do the trade , jubilee always looks like a 1980s datejust to me
Also you get the older movement, proven reliable unlike this latest series |

Yes discontinued Batman oyster is becoming more desirable than jubilee. Old tried and tested movement vs noisy movement with some issues, also more durable oyster bracelet. Bigger case gives more presence, and add discontinued factor makes it a better choice it you like the oyster look. I predict this will happen with the Hulk vs Cermit soon too

I have both watches. For the record I hate it that people call the jubilee band the batgirl. I mean it makes me wanna run through a brick wall. Now that that’s off my chest haha, both watches look amazing. I personally end up wearing the jubilee band more that the oyster. I say go for it.

I gave it some more time and I have always enjoyed having something a little different than others - I get that's not really Rolex - but in the Batman perspective I like it's a little more unique. |

I heard they changed the lugs on the 2019+ to keep people from swapping bracelets - could be a rumor. |

A fully brushed bracelet on any GMT is a perfect combo.
