IMO BB58 is the best watch Tudor makes.

Perfect proportions, beautiful dial, great history and heritage, affordable, under-the-radar and still maintains fantastic quality. Looks and feels like a 5-digit sub, but with a better movement and better bracelet. Overall, nearly perfect. Bracelet is outstanding, just the clasp could use a little work.

Regarding dial: Both are great, can't go wrong with either one. Personally, I think: Blue if part of a collection of 4 or more watches, Black if it's your only piece or in a smaller rotation (3 watches or less).

Vintage Tudor Sub in blue
Bb58 either color
Harrods edition
ETA 41 mm any color

Would also recommend to wait and see what the new releases are next week

This is going to be unpopular but I’ll say the BB58. If you all haven’t heard of it it, I highly recommend it.

I put on my Pelagos LHD on new years eve and have worn it everyday since. I have 4 Rolex's in my drawer but I just enjoy the look and feel of the LHD. It's what I remember my old 5 digit rolex's feeling like. Sturdy and ready to take on whatever you throw at it. A real tool watch.

If I were to buy a Tudor it would be the Black Bay P01.

The BB41 Black ETA that I have. Short production run, a solid movement that can be repaired if need be, and 2 mm thinner than the in-house movement 41mm Black Bays.

Will be watching Tudor for something exciting (I hope) on Tuesday.

Black Pelagos for me. Had one and sold it. I regret it and plan to buy it again. I"m very active outdoors and in watersports and it's a perfect tool watch for me.

I'm tempted but the blue Pelagos but not sure about the versatility of the striking blue dial.

I like the BB58 but I have a 14060M 2-liner that I like better.

This one, although now this model is silly money. Closely followed by the THC Chronograph and the big block Chronograph. Tudor also have some really cool watches which go under the radar, like the Mk1 Hydronaut and the North Flag, Ranger and the fantastic Mk1 Red Ducati Chronograph.

I absolutely love the BB58 in black. It really ticked a lot of boxes for what i was looking for in a watch. Of the few watches I own, it's the one that gets the most compliments.

I liked it so much, I got it in blue as well.

I am planning to buy a Tudor for fun and would love your advice on which currently available model is the best Tudor on the market for a male sports watch. Please don’t take into account my current collection.

Thank you in advanced for sharing.

I would have chosen this M91651-0002 1926 Tudor Watch, one of best looking and beautiful at the same time.

I love it.

For me it would have to be either the BB58 blue or the Pelagos blue. Both are unique SS color offerings from Wilsdorf (ie. stainless steel blue divers) that are arguably best value in each’s class. Not to mention either look awesome. I have the BB58, and would have jumped on the Pelagos if it were slightly smaller.

I have the Black Bay (red) but I'm seriously considering the P01.

These are the only models I would own.

Tough call on this one. It would have easily been the BB58 until I bought the bracelet for the S&G. I really like the brushed gold. If I was forced to pick one, I would keep the BB58.

I love the BB58 but with my sub it would probably be redundant.
So I'd go for the Ranger or the North Flag.
