My two cents on the size, I think if this were the 36mm with the MOP and Diamond bezel it might be a little much so I think the size is probably good. Just got my wife the 36mm Wimbledon with jubilee/fluted and its awesome but you know its there!

I think it should be fine. I just personally do not like the small 26-28 mm "old woman" rolex's. And I don't mean to offend. Just not my preference. Looks like the watches my grandmother would have worn. I thought about this same watch in the 36mm but I figured it would or could be seen as too much so I opted for the 31mm. She should love it. The thing is just perfection.
