The color doesn't bother me, those black markers and hands are what anger me so.
I was realistically "next on the list" for a white 5711 when it was discontinued. So when I see those blackened markers and hands I see my white 5711 slaughtered for parts to fill this order. |

I'm surprised by the release. It's the opposite of what I expected from Patek, this is just too high profile of a marketing move and feeding to the hype. That's not the brand value I have been looking for from Patek.
As for the watch, the more they release new colors the more I consider the white 5711 which I was not interested in until it's discontinued. For high end steel sports/daily I still feel AP is the benchmark. It has more history and the top dog that started the genre. |

Can't possibly be the last SS Nautilus because the 5712, 5726, 5990 and 7118 are still in production. I think he meant the last SS 5711 (even then the green 5711 could still be sold as we type).

He may heave meant the last SS Nautilus ever releaesed, but probably he just messed up. Can happen when daddy has kiddo run the show and kiddo isn‘t up to speed on the product portfolio and can’t hold back out of sheer joy… LOL

I do like it very much, perhaps I'd like the blue to be a tad darker, but that blue/eau de nil, as a Brit, will always be to me the Fortnum's blue.

I’ve never been a fan of the Tiffany blue color when it comes to something a man would wear.
The collaboration is understandable as they've been linked together for a very long time and the people who have the Tiffany branded Patek seem to hold on to them. |

Don't like it.
The Nautilus, to me, has always been about understated elegance in a luxury sports watch. Toss a Tiffany blue dial into the mix and understated goes out the window. So I view the collab as a fatal deviation from what the Nautilus is (was) all about. Also, Tiffany blue is very feminine, so not for me. Also, the writing on the case back is an abomination. Also, don't we already have enough "look-at-me" watches? Also, the hype is grotesque and antithetical to true watch appreciation. |
