Great watch the Airking and one of Rolex longest production watches ever, but IMHO still looks better on original bracelet.

I think you might have predicted the AirKing 2022 new release. We all know how Rolex likes to disappoint us with their incremental change for new releases.

What would really change the landscape would be if they only sold it with leather strap!

Looks great, and lovely collection.

Mind sharing what brand that strap/band storage case is? Need something like that to help organize things.

BGTREND is the brand. Bought it off of Amazon. It has a built in zipper pouch for the Patek date pusher and springbar tool. I enjoy it enough to say you might too. Especially at the price they charge.

I think this is a cool piece, especially on that strap!

I liked it enough to text my SA to see if she by any chance has one to look at.

When I first saw one I thought "WTF?". But it really has grown on me over time. Definitely Rolex´s odd-ball, but then I've always liked odd-balls! It's so completely different! Congrats and do wear it and enjoy it, and to hell with what other people think! (I do think it looks best on the Oyster bracelet, but that´s just me!)

Is there any "rhyme or reason" from those who know AirKing why this dial is the way it its?

Joking but it almost looks like they said "Hey we have those old Explorer 3,6,9's lets us 'em up".

I stare at it and stare at it and love the look but the 3,6,9 and the 5,10,3,20,25,6,35 bla bla bla does my head in.
