Congratulations. Love the new LV. I’ve always liked the green sub but never get it was just quite right until this iteration. Hoping the AD will get me one eventually. Congrats again and beautiful watch.

I know what you mean re: the LVc. As much as I enjoy seeing the pics online, I could just never warm up to one in the collection.

The new LV, though, is a different story. Congrats on yours and as always, thanks for the great pics and thorough review!

Congrats Mystro! It’s a beauty and your photos are top notch as always. It’s going to give the Daytona a run for it’s money competing for wrist time! Enjoy

I purchased a 126610LC (Black Sub) this summer and as much as I loved that watch, I was missing that green “pop” of color. You all can see where this is going….

So I made a switch and moved out my 126610LC for a new Sub41LV. It’s brutal weather here in the North East so I will take you through my unboxing procedure with limited outside pics.

A rare sunny cold day had FedEx on time delivering my new Sub41LV. No drama this time like my soaking wet SS Daytona arrived. Package was pristine and wrapped extremely well from our trusted seller and friend Thanh Takuya.

So when I receive a new watch I have to go over everything and take some pics for my jewelry insurance policy. Full Box set with even some lingering stickers.

Some quick documentation pics before I resize the watch.

Resizing a new watch for me is a enjoyment as I get to really go over the watch. A good screwdriver is a must regardless if it’s a oyster or jubilee bracelet as they use different size screw pins. The oyster bracelet pins are thicker and will accommodate a Panerai screw driver. I highly recommend this Rolex specific screwdriver for both Oyster/Jubilee bracelet.

Reversible blades: straight "T" style are 1.7mm and 1.3mm, 1.0mm fork and .90mm point tip

I take pics of the gasket with crown unscrewed and all angles of the watch including the serial number and laser etched crown. I even had the privilege to remove a few missed stickers.

My thoughts on the new Sub41LV is that it came at a perfect time with the new case design making it a direct modern lineage to the original 50th anniversary LV.
I feel the Hulk was its own watch with its sunburst green dial. My personal Sub41LV feelings is the contrast between the gloss black dial and green bezel is stunning and very dramatic. It adds a touch a green without totally Hulking out multiple shades of green all the time. The bezel goes from bright green to dark hunter green but always contrasting and complementing the gloss black dial. This certainly doesn’t take anything away from the Hulk as it’s a different animal and comparing the two is Apple vs Oranges. The 126610LV lives up to the LV legendary family tree.

I do notice the few pictures I did take, brought back fond memories of my Hulk and how hard it is to capture the shade of green as it’s constantly shifting with the lighting.

1000000% better looking that Hulk !!

Looks amazing!! Congrats!!!!

Am I the only loser in this forum who hasn't received a call yet for a watch?? Spent $127,000 with my AD and they still say they haven't received a thing. Depressing.

Thanks everyone. I am loving the LV and find it really “pops” on the wrist. That green on such a iconic design just epitomizes the “Rolex” brand look.
It’s always hard getting a diver in the winter months but this one is going on a Florida beach/Disney vacation soon.
