They are getting very popular my local ad have pretty empty cases. They do restock pretty fast but is hard to walk in and see all models most of the time.

I really enjoy my Pelagos. I purchased this piece a few weeks go and I am in love with it.
Very easy to wear and well proportioned for a watch of this size with a helium gas escape valve.
First time I own a titanium watch, wears surprisingly light.
This Tudor is very robust, well made super easy to read. My new daily beater for all my outdoor an indoor activities, this watch is a beast

Love the Tudors have 4 of them
Next in line is the BB58 Blue and a chrono white dial
Value for money brand in my opinion wears very well on leather straps find the oyster type metal straps a tad to heavy
Great watch for traveling too !

My first Tudor was a yellow dial Hydronaut bought around the time they were leaving the US market. Shortly thereafter I picked up a yellow dial Tiger chronograph, that was a fun watch. Sold the Hydronaut to a buddy who still has it, the chrono long gone. When the Heritage Chronograph launched I sourced one from the Phillipines, that was a cool watch I had for a few years.
Since Tudor returned to the US I have looked at them many times but nothing that I must own has come around yet. I do think they provide a great value and seem to be very solid(except maybe for some GMT issues.)

Tudor is now what Rolex has been a long time ago! Great watches, experimental in materials and design, good value for money, available! No longer in the shade of the big brother! Rolex is positioning itself on a more luxury level and Tudor is the new "Toolwatch" for nurses, blue collar workers, snorklers who need some little status on their wrist!

I like all the Tudor photos in this thread. I just have a Black Bay 36 (earlier ETA version) but would like another Tudor sometime. Perhaps another reissued (but smaller) Ranger?

This is a timely thread because since picking up the FXD it is all I want to wear. It fixes any small issues I had with the Pelagos and I’ve had 4. I mean this is the best tool watch there is in my opinion unless you are saturation diving. Weight, thickness, legibility, accuracy, duality function of bezel, adherence to strap.

I love my BB41 and have no wish to buy anything else I believe Tudor are in this field much better VFM especially with the Rolex silly games scenario.

They make excellent watches. Very workmanlike quality to them. All very robust and toolish. I've owned two but eventually moved on from both. The problem with Tudor is there always seems to be an equivalent or better from another manufacturer with higher quality at similar price. For example I had a black bay diver, but eventually moved over to an Omega SMP300M. I had a Tudor GMT, but eventually moved to a Grand Seiko GMT. Both definitely feel to me to be upgrades but the cost (pre-owned) was the same or even a little less than the Tudor. Each offered advantages in terms of quality, materials, case size and shape that made them more appealing to me.

Love Tudor. The Pelagos is the single best dive watch available today, imo.

I have a Blue Pelagos.

They caught my interest, I didn't want to like it. I couldn't stop thinking about it.

Tried one on at an AD - knowing I would hate it - so that I could forget it - and loved it instantly. Dang it!

I ended up buying one thru a great seller here - and I love it all these years later. It's a great watch, and it runs very well.

So far the only one that's stuck with me is the Pelagos. I like the Black Bay (ETA and in-house), but something about the case just doesn't jive with me. And I think it's the polished 9 o'clock side of the mid-case. Especially on the 79230s. I really want to try out one of the chronos, but just can't commit, thinking I'll end up in the same "meh" spot.

The Pelagos, though...man, that thing is spot on.

Tudor makes excellent watches which represent an excellent value for money. I find the BB 41 line a little too thick and slab sided, certainly not a deal breaker though. The GMT with the trimmed lower case edges is definitely an acknowledgement of this fact by Tudor.
Before buying my GMT I had a Blue Pelagos and a S&G.
Neither stuck with me in the end. But the Pelagos is the one and only watch I ever regretted selling. I think it was the color that killed it for me, so much blue can be somewhat restrictive.
I'll be correcting that with a black one in the future though

Well don't just leave us hanging - what happened to your two Tudor purchases that only lasted a month ?

Certainly they were under warranty!

I like tudor a lot too.
I'm interested in a few of the BB58s, BB36 blue, chrono either color, royal blue, with no day and no diamonds.
Right now I just don't have such a wide interest in rolex.

I really fell for the Royal 41mm and placed an order here yesterday for the blue diamond dial. Love the day/date complication. I think it's elegant and will really suit my lifestyle. AD said about 2-3 month wait. Having seen Jaws at a very young age I'm not a water guy, but do think the BB with the red bezel is quite sharp. I also think the 1926 with the white dial/blue indices is super attractive, and quite versatile.

I have a navy BB 58 that I love and wear an increasing amount. But I do wonder if there isn’t some truth in this. What is a better value, a Tudor BB 58 or Pelagos or whatever versus a Seamaster, or even a Breitling SuperOcean? And those watches are more available, can be had at w discount from ADs, etc.

Tudor is doing very well. They are great looking watches for the money, except the snowflake hands. They are stealing sales from Omega because the SMP is in many folks view ugly.

Lets talk Tudor

These are my two Tudors and I am very happy both with them. They wear very comfortably and I have never had any issues with either.

The only fault that I find with the BB is that I wish that it had a crown guard.

I put the 1926 into rotation this weekend, and I cannot tell you how much I really enjoy it!

Totally agree. I love Tudor, and they doing an unbelievable job with the recent releases. The BB58, the FXD, and the BlackBay Chrono are really exciting in a relatively short timespan of releases.

I really like my Tudor GMT. It is my go to watch for everyday and gets much more wrist time than my Rolex or Omega watches. I have thought about also picking up a BB 58.
